Happy Friday! Rafal from Chatwith here. Holidays are near, but we're still shipping! ☺️ I thought I'd let you know about a few product changes:
- Conversation persistence
- Rename to 'Actions'
- Small changes and fixes
Conversation persistence
One of the hotly requested features:
keeping the chatbot message history across page changes
, refresh and even after a long absence. Now your page visitors can come back and pick up the conversation whenever they are ready for it. The conversation can be conveniently restarted, if needed, too. This functionality is enabled automatically for all chatbots and no action is required on your side.Skills → Actions
We've decided to
rename our core feature, Skills, to 'Actions'.
Following an amazing response from the community, we're doubling down on integrations. You'll notice the term 'Skills' being gradually replaced over the course of next weeks across Chatwith dashboard, Help Center and other materials. We've also added helpful indicators so your chatbot users can immediately know that the AI is performing additional actions in the background.Small changes and fixes
We've
updated our GPT 3.5 model
to the newest version, coded "gpt-3.5-turbo-1106". This version offers improved instruction following and has a large context by default. Thanks to this upgrade, you may notice slightly improved Action usage and the chatbots better following System Prompt instructions. Here's a list of other things that work better now:
- Fix: the Action "loading" state staying even after the Action has concluded
- Fix: Visual glitches on our landing page and Help Center (Chrome)
- Fix: Images unnecessarily getting crawled for training (Chrome)
- Fix: Double minus sign in analytics dashboard
- Fix: chat bubble getting stretched during generation of long URLs
